The Baird Law Firm was founded by Attorney Mike Baird in 2011 with one simple philosophy: to help good people overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of personal, professional, and financial success. This began in 2004 when Mike began work as a high net worth financial advisor. In this capacity he counseled families and business owners in the areas of portfolio management and retirement, estate, and tax planning. Licenses and designations previously held include:

- FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 Securities Examinations

- Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS)

- Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)

- Certified Fund Specialist (CFS)

Mike attended law school at St. Mary's Universtity in San Antonio, Texas. While in law

school Mike worked to help those most in need of legal assistance by focusing on criminal defense and pro bono work. Mike worked with the St. Mary's Center for Legal and Social Justice and was a founding officer of the St. Mary's Military Law Assocaition, which provides assistance to veterans in our community.

The Baird Law Firm thrives on the combination of diverse expeiences and interests Mike and his staff bring to the firm. The firm offers a variety of services with a focus not just on the legal problem at hand, but on the client's overall financial, personal, and professional well being. This holistic approach to taking care of our clients enables the Baird Law Firm to go above and beyond our clients' expectations to deliver the solutions and results they need.

Mike is married to Kimberly Baird - his better half and the founder of Kimberly Baird Design, Inc., a full-service interior design firm that is quickly gaining recognition in the community (click here to view her blog). Together they have two beautiful daughters. When not at work Mike spends his time volunteering at his daughters' schools and coaching their volleyball and basketball teams.
